Excellent customer service! Great prices! December 4, 2013
Reviewer: Benjamin Emery from Kingsport, TN United States
When I received my GT Avalanche 1.0 which I got on sale and saved several hundred $$, I quickly ran into problems with the hydraulic brake installation, and a brake line had been damaged in shipping. I got in touch with customer service who promptly offered to do whatever was necessary to get me back out riding on the trails. They got in touch with the manufacturer, sent me a brand new $60 brake and disk, then covered the cost of labor to get it installed. They even sent me $15 for my trouble! I would highly recommend this company to a friend, as their prices are very competitive, and their service is absolutely outstanding!

Second bike November 18, 2013
Reviewer: Mladen Wickerhauser from St Louis, MO United States
This is a great all-around trail bike for the hilly single tracks around here.  I like the smooth shifting and the good build quality.  This is actually the second copy of the 2012 Av 1.0 model that I bought from ABS.  The first, tricked out with fenders and a rack for commuting in town, is fine on gravel and dirt except the worst jumps and climbs.  The second will stay naked for better uphill speed and trail worthiness out in the wilds.

Delivery was fast and the price is a bargain.  Assembly is not difficult, especially the second time.

Great bike for a great price! July 16, 2013
Reviewer: Eric Eberhard from Spokane, WA United States
I haven't had the chance to take this bike on any rough trails yet, but I've had a bike similar to this one (in price as well) and if it's anything like my old bike it's going to be an amazing ride. Not to mention the colors on the frame are fantastic. I got the gray/orange one.

The bike much earlier than anticipated, which was nice and there were was no wear and tear on the bike from being shipped. But unless you have  the mechanical knowledge and means to fine tune your bike be prepared to shell out 50$ or so to get everything tuned just right. I was expecting that so it wasn't a problem, but it's something you should consider when buying a bike online.

Fast delivery, good support January 11, 2013
Reviewer: Mladen Wickerhauser from St Louis, MO United States
I ordered this bike online at a good price, and it was delivered one day sooner than I expected.  The bike was well packaged and all needed parts were included.

It did take some assembly.  A few special tools are useful to have, like a set of metric Allen wrenches and a skinny 15mm wrench to tighten the pedals.  A torque wrench is useful for tightening the pinch bolts and attaching the front disc brake rotor.  Torque specs are printed right on the parts.

I called the shop for advice on aligning the brakes and got excellent advice.

The bike rides like a dream and I would buy the same model from the same shop without hesitation.
